Aloft Beijing, Haidian Hotel, Beijing

Staying at this hotel was like having my own little classy apartment. The rooms are very modern, with contemporary lighting, a sleek shower with a glass partition, and a flat-screen TV. However, some amenities that belong to the Four Points by Sheraton next door come at an extra charge to the room.

My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton was delightful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, especially for the price. The breakfast service could use a bit of improvement, but the location near a big shopping center and various dining options was convenient. The dining experience offered a fantastic selection of Chinese and Western cuisine, despite being a bit pricey.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt like a very small apartment, nicely appointed but unfortunately noisy due to the ongoing renovation of the restaurant. On the bright side, they were very clean, had fine linen, and provided a peaceful environment, meeting a good 3-star standard for China.

Staying at the Four Points by Sheraton was like having my own cozy little apartment. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well-appointed, making me feel right at home. However, the room rates were a bit on the higher side compared to other Starwood Properties I've stayed at.

The hotel offers decently designed and comfortable rooms, equivalent to a good 3-star standard in China. The service ranges from lackluster to exceptional, with efforts to make the stay as comfortable as possible. While the location may be slightly off the beaten path from central Beijing, it provides easy access to shopping and dining options. The dining experience falls short of Aloft standards but offers a mix of eastern and western options. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory with room for improvement in some areas.
